Have you seen John Wilson? How does it compare to NFY?
It is a decent watch. Although I found one of the main protagonists very grating and a complete prick (pardon the pun), I wasn’t far off fist pumping when the AIDS finally consumed him.

No ‘Kevin can fuck himself’ on the list. That was easily in my top 5 this year. Brilliant show.

Nathan Fielder is a producer of it. If you like NFY then you will enjoy it but it is different. It is more documentary and social commentary with some hilarious unplanned/unscripted moments when he disappears down wormholes and tangents with the random strangers he meets in NYC mainly through Craigslist. Some of the shots they get of just random shit happening in New York is unbelievable
John has an endearing, inoffensive charm like a weak Louis Theroux which adds to it.

Agreed, watched episode 2 last night. I had a small issue with one particular plot point as in the words of Homer J Simpson it was a little too convenient but other than that super stuff.

Have ye watched Joe Pera? Perhaps the sweetest show out there at the moment. Haven’t got round to S3 yet

It started off with a 10-15 min animated piece called Joe Pera Talks You To Sleep but then just developed into a series.
Azzurra looks as close to perfect as a woman can this season.

Bit watery episode 2 but if you can overlook that and perhaps other element of seriously missed opportunity to do deep damage, it’s back to the best in the business.
Is the acting still bad?

Watched the last episode of this last night. Magnificent television.
It’s fair fucking grim. But it is excellent alright.
It’s grim up North.
Just finished Gomorra there.
The ending was a bit meh for me, bit too much Shakespearean type of ending but it was a brilliant season.
The greatest TV show of all time.

Finished the third series of American Crime Story - impeachment tonight.
Really enjoyed it. Poor auld Billy Boy doesn’t come out of it too well while Monica seems as alright sort who got in over her head. Well worth a watch
