Agreed… And that’s the point of the last few episodes… Like how he couldn’t not ring Kim. Our scope the shopping centre out or then come back to the two dopes for the drugging scam. His brother had him well marked but as we were fed the world from Jimmy’s point of view we possibly don’t see it till the end

The brother probably impacted his journey. He wanted to protect his patch as the achiever ahead of his more sociable brother and put him down. Jimmy was probably always a bad 'un anyway.

Better Call Saul has tipped along nicely IMO I’m enjoying it, one episode left I think and hopefully it’ll be a dinger. It’s hard to see Jimmy slipping the net this time but we’ll see. It’s finishing up better than Breaking Bad anyway which dragged the arse out of the last two seasons.
Blackbird is decent for anyone that hasn’t seen it, it’s just six episodes. Reminded me a lot of Mindhunter. The fella playing the lead “baddie” is superb.

Ah it was fantastic.
Highlights for me:
the actress playing his partner who called him out for having zero emotions. She was spot on
the Israel rant from the Jewish lady at the end, after she had been portrayed as the voice of reason but then seemed to be just as much a zealot as the Christian
It’s a mad show, not like anything else I’ve seen. But I love it.

I thought it was going to build to be a takedown of the actress and paint her as an even bigger crackpot that we had seen and him going for a gotcha moment with the out of town footage but glad it took the high road. God only knows where it goes from here

Lads, watching the Umbrella Academy…mighty craic altogether. Ozark is going well too, just into 2nd season.
Agreed a really nice way to finish it all off. Glad Kim got off and Mike’s last scene was very touching.
