First two series of Auf Wiedersehen Pet is probably the funniest two series I’ve ever watched. Jimmy Nail is hilarious.

A bbc series is it? What’s it about and is each season a new storyline?
It is from ITV. Each season is a new storyline.
Each season focuses on the discovery of the remains of an individual who was murdered in the distant past - ranging from relatively recently to decades ago.
There is a police team dedicated to such cases. It was led by the brilliant Nicola Walker up to the last season, ably backed up by Sanjeev Bhaskar. The functioning of the police unit is a key part of it as well as the private lives of the two leads.
What is really good about it is that there are four different stories going on (seemingly unrelated) about where four key people in the life of the murder victim are now and the lives they are living. Gradually through the police work and the development of the plot they are shown to be intertwined wit twists and turns before what happened to the murder victim is established.
All seasons are available on the RTE player. The excellent Irish actress Sinead Keenan replaced Walker for the current season.

Sinead Keenan’s sister Grainne Keenan plays her on screen sister in the show.
Grainne Keenan formerly of the Virgin Media series Blood with Adrian Dunbar, the second season of which she took the lead and was of top quality I thought. Of course her sister Cat from Blood played by Carolina Main is also in Unforgotten as DC Fran Lingley.
Probably late to the party here but Bad Sisters well worth your time. Quite enjoying Ted Lasso too
