Eli Gold I think is his name, a bit of a fixer kinda person? Only shown up for a few eps so far and don’t want to read too much on wiki or the like about it as I’m way behind and dont want spoilers.
Heard Simon Delaney was due to show up on it alright. Never warmed to that fella.

Won’t spoil it but yeah Eli is a great character.
Anyone (mbb) have much background on “Luck” with Dustin Hoffman, getting big promotion over here and was wondering is it worth making time for, looks interesting.
Have 4 eps I think downloaded caoimhaoin but havent watched it yet. Yea, its getting big push all over, and has a serious cast. I’ll give it a run through at some point and see how it goes, but horse racing wouldnt exactly be my thing so thats holding me off so far.
Kev, a friend of mine who is hugely into horse racing and works in a related field has been watching it and has been disappointed with it. I think he said it didn’t feel too authenthic/realistic. I’ve not seen any of it myself besides the trailers. It could be something that people with no interest in horse racing will like more than those that do have an interest in it…
Has anyone been watching the new series of Eastbound and Down? I have never seen a series decline so spectacularly and so quickly. Did they get a new team of writers or what?
I watched the first episode and thought, that wasn’t great but hopefully it will improve. The second episode was absolutely terrible. I don’t even think I’m gonna bother watching the third. Desperately disappointing.
Has anyone (Tinnion would strike me as someone who may have caught it?) seen I Just Want My Pants Back? An incredibly shite name, but a decent show that doesnt seem too far removed from How to Make it in America. Only caught two episodes of it so far, but seems to have some potential.
Brian have you got around to watchng the two latest episodes? The third was an improvement on the second episode but the fourth reached a new low. Very disappointing.
There were the occasional funny moments in the last two episodes but everything about it is no so forced and contrived. It’s trying to be funny or grotesque with every line and failing badly.
