Chippy had a running battle all through the game with the entire Bulgarian team culminating in his red card .
The game was very physical .
Ireland played some good football
Was some sign that Ireland could play Ronnie Whelan and Paul McGrath as full backs .
I hope RTE show more of these games over the winter - I can’t imagine there is huge interest in watching the Ireland women play Italy at rugby
