Watched it recently with mrs J and our daughter. One of mrs J’s favourite films from childhood. Was amazed at how badly the woman is treated in the film. Literally passed around by the men folk. Not a great watch for the little lady.

The serpents started on BBC the other night. An 8 parter about a gem dealer/serial killer type in Bangkok in the 70s. Based on a true story. Usual BBC fare, glitzy and stylish. Timeline jumps all over and half subtitled so not one to watch with phone in hand. First episode was decent anyway

It’s something I find is missing from modern life, watching telly with your kids. Back in one tv in the house days families used to watch everything together.

Honour with what’s his name from breaking bad/Malcolm in the middle is some watch. New show from Showtime. Story bit of a stretch but have you tense as fuck waiting for a snap.

A new season of Pulling with my parents on RTÉ 2. There was a grand Limerick woman on the last series.
Two auld lads marrying to avoid tax doc on RTÉ 1. A real clash of quality TV.
