I’m watching this thing on BBC2 about the grunts in the Russian army and their disaffection with the Ukrainian conflict. Russia looks a fairly grim place, the land, the military camps and the people themselves.

One thing about them is that every man, woman and child of them appear to smoke. I wouldn’t worry about drone attacks if I were them, those Russian Woodbines are equally lethal.

They’re down about 1.2m bodies to date but Putin insists on slogging on. He’s clearly keeping an eye on Enoch Burke and drawing on his resilience.

I really enjoyed 1883, watched first series of 1923 and it’s “decent”. Will watch series 2 when I can locate it, but Yellowstone, probably not

I watched Swindlers there now - dealing with Dublin solicitor Thomas Byrne whose empire collapsed with €52bn of a shortfall.

Two of his victims were a father & son combination from Walkinstown by the name of Matthew and Terry Connors. They were absolutely riding the tiger buying and building houses and acquired a wee portfolio of 14 properties before the whole thing blew up in their faces.

Incredibly they were sanguine about the whole thing despite years of grief and losing their collective shirts. Their acceptance of their fate was admirable.

Christy Ryan got rightly screwed afterwards

Great comment from Padraig Ó Céidigh there saying Ryanair is the only airline who flys you from nowhere to nowhere :joy:

He got the money he invested back which was 50k but his shares went on to be worth 30million :scream:

Great to see the proper heavyweights like Yatesy and Bertie as commentators.

You’d usually get the likes of Alison O’Connor.

Padraig would be a bit bitter. Lost his bollix on AER Arann

I can see why…I just read that aer Aran were worth 100m at their peak when he was the owner…

The original Bad Lieutenant on Legend channel. A proper Tour de France by Keitel.

Michael O’Leary on with Colette Fitzpatrick on VM1+1.
He hasn’t any time for the myriad of folk complaining about the noise.

He’s a gas cunt and Colette is looking fair well….

She’s a fine looking woman.

Impossible to disagree. No good saying I wish I was 30 years younger either….

Young Offenders new episode is good craic. Ill never be able to look at Biddy from Glenroe in the same way.

Patsy Kensit getting railed by Mel Gibson on Sky Movies. Mel wasn’t far wrong about the Jews
