Typical nasty postings from gola. I hope he gets disciplined.
Furious BBC Olympics presenter Gary Lineker today revealed his eldest son George has become the latest target for a vile Twitter troll.
England soccer legend Gary told how he was left feeling âphysically sickâ by the taunts directed at his son.
George, aged 20, was struck down by a rare form of leukaemia as a baby but won a brave battle to overcome the life-threatening illness.
He became the victim of vicious insults on Twitter only hours after a 17-year-old youth was arrested for abuse directed at Olympic diver Tom Daley.
Dad-of-four Gary, 51, told his 912,000 Twitter followers today: âIâm about to RT (re-tweet) 3 tweets that were sent to my son that make me feel physically sick. Culprit has deleted his account.â
Gary then repeated the three messages sent to his son on Tuesday by a troll using the name @MrMarkDRUMS711.
Message One said: â@GeorgeLineker heard ya Leukaemia , pity ya didnât die . XDâ
Message Two said: â@GeorgeLineker Haha your dads a washed up piece of s*** Leukaemia boyâ.
Message Three said: â@GeorgeLineker cheers for the retweet cancer boy ! You f****** gent! XD haha.â
Gary later sent his followers a message saying: âThanks for tweets of support and concern.
"Donât worry @GeorgeLineker doesnât let it bother him. Itâs wrong though, it really is!â
Britainâs world number one golfer Luke Donald tweeted Gary saying: ânot sure what this world is coming too, makes me feel sick.â
Gary replied to Luke saying: âTiny mindless minority thankfully.â
Vile: Gary Lineker retweeted the messages

Son George made his own dignified response to the troll on Twitter today.
He said: âDont waste ur time havin a dig at someone who it doesnt bother in the slightest, if it bothered me Id of come off twitter a year ago ÂŁtadaaaâ
George later tweeted his followers a message giving the identity of the person he believed had sent the insulting comments.
He wrote: âIf anyones bothered, doubt they are the guy who had a go last night n deleted his account was **** ******* from Wexford, Ireland apparentlyâ.
George - who has three younger brothers - was just two months old when he was diagnosed with a rare form of blood cancer in 1991.
The Match of the Day presenterâs ex wife Michelle noticed a spot on Georgeâs forehead which turned out to be a symptom of acute myeloid leukaemia.
George underwent five courses of gruelling chemotherapy during seven months. He was given NHS treatment at Great Ormond Street Hospital in London.
Gary spoke about the family trauma four years ago, saying:âHe was very sick and had taken a really bad turn for the worse.
"They told us he had leukaemia - it was just a question of which one.
âWhen we first learned George had leukaemia we were very frightened but the staff were honest.
âIf we had a question the doctors and nurses were always straight talking which is what you want. If was made clear pretty early on that Georgeâs chances werenât great.â
But George managed to pull through and was allowed home from hospital when he was aged ten months.
The latest internet taunts were sent shortly after a 17-year-old youth was freed from police custody after sick messages were sent to diving star Tom Daley when he finished fourth in the 10m synchronised final.
The troll accused Tom of âletting downâ his late father by missing out on a medal. Tomâs dad Rob, aged 40, died from a brain tumour 14 months ago.
The teenage troll was arrested at a guest house in Weymouth, Dorset and given a harassment warning by police who are investigating other messages sent on his Twitter account.

Wow. Duncan Jenkins has tweeted a link to his blog which shows the lengths which Liverpool went to unmask him and the threats they made to him. Fascinating stuff.
who is he?
âA perspiring football journalistâ.He broke a shitload of Liverpool stories and they hired investigators to find out who he was and threatened him.
Thatâs what you get when you stick your head above the parrot pit.
In all seriousness the story is fucking crazy - http://duncanjenkins.blogspot.co.uk/2012/10/such-little-thing-makes-such-big.html
Liverpoolâs comms director threatening to destroy a guyâs family because of a joke twitter account. That is mental.
internetting is a most serious business
What kind of idiot sets up a joke twitter account.
Real twitter accounts are bad enough but joke ones FFS sake
I thought the whole idea was that he was a complete pisstake of football journalists and football cliches and general shite talk? When did the pretence that he was breaking serious rumours and news come into it?
