Surprisingly Ewan is having a barney on Twitter today. Also rugby related. He wrote a colour piece about Joey Carbery in which he didnāt speak about their mutual home town of Athy in glowing terms and made some comment about how shit Athy were at rugby. Heās getting an awful doing from the locals, some of whom I assume know him.

It imported some amount of scum in the last 15 years . There is a thesis in whether it is a bigger dump than Tipp town .

Incidentally, Carberryās father is said to be a very nice man, does a lot of coaching in schools along the Laois/Kildare border I believe.

With the various roadworks on the N/M9 over the years Iāve had occasion to pass through Athy many times. I came to the conclusion that it is a town without a single redeeming feature

Jaysus Athy not getting great review here. Worse than Tipp town fucking hell. Wouldnāt you think Ewan be a bit chirpier living in Brazil having left it behind. Think heās getting bit of a harsh time of it didnāt think article was that bad.
