Pound for pound player wise Laois are seriously out performing Tyrone.

They also have a superior coach

Bizarre post. Laois are a nothing county in GAA terms doing exactly nothing in GAA terms.

Leeeesh, Leeeesh, Leeeesh, Leeeesh.

Great chant that. One of the best in the GAA.

Mcgeary has to be a Galbally man?

Sounds like Tyrone

Pomeroy so close enough

With all the Aarons, Ethans and Cians around, you don’t get too many Franks around the inter-county GAA scene these days. Is it an exclusively Ulster half-back thing?

Hugh Pat McGeary :grinning:

That name keeps reminding me of @cowpat and the oul’ fella in Father Ted.

How can I stream this game in Euskadi, guys?

??? eh??

The substitute bench:

16 M O’Neill
17 R Brennan
18 M Cassidy
19 H Loughran
20 C McCann
21 D McClure
22 A McCrory
23 K McGeary
24 R McNabb
25 R O’Neill
26 R Sludden

McCarron not in the 26.

What would you say is the strongest part of that team? The half forward line?

The middle 8 sector is fairly strong. Cavanagh and McCann both came through their club games unscathed last round out so I think they are two key players who should be able to have more of an influence.

I really rate Richie Donnelly too, he’s a good physical presence and always plays with his head up and kick off both feet. I’ve feel he has been unlucky so far with niggly injuries since being brought inot the squad.

Good opportunity for a few lads there like HP McGeary, R Donnelly and McNulty to show their worth. I think if Tyrone progress to the last 8 it could serve them well as with the injuries at the minute, it gives others an opportunity.

Avoiding Monaghan in rd 2 and Mayo/Monaghan in rd 3 will be the ideal scenario, you don’t want to be facing a huge knockout game like that this early in the year.

The provincial losers won’t really worry the sides coming through the backdoor this year.

My feeling is that Cork have got their act together this year. They or Kerry will be a serious short straw for somebody in Round 4.

The Connacht final losers will (barring a replay) have three weeks recovery time before Round 4 of the qualifiers so I wouldn’t be going writing them off reaching the Super 8 either.

I can’t see Cork doing anything against a top side.
