Maybe this is a Q for the trivia thread but man united have won the European cup 3 times. They always been champions of England the season before winning it and the season when winning it. Are man united the only side to win the European trophy multiple times as double league champions? Winning the European cup when your not league champions doesnât sit right with me. To be truly considered the best team on the land you have to win the league as well.
