He took United when they were on the floor and they couldnāt have gone any lower. He has a decent bunch of players there so a bounce was pretty inevitable. I didnāt see much of the match tonight but it is his biggest achievement, not withstanding that PSG are known bottlers in such circumstances.
He inevitably will get the job now but letās see what he does over the next few seasons with expectations rightly on him given the players they have. His previous managerial record is pretty dire and a kind of Lazarus like resurrection of a manager at the very highest level would be quite strange over a sustained period.
