Yes, but the interpretation is based on whether the arm was in an unnatural position. They are given all the time for arms raised, if the ref spots it (or VAR now). Itâs a travesty if a goal bound shot is stopped by a raised arm and a penalty not given.

They have to do something about handball with VAR coming in, I know theyâre already bringing in some kind of rule change but its not enough. There have been much worse decisions than that one tonight given in recent weeks
