I thought that was a definite pelanty in Paris for the reasons already outlined by my learned friends @anon7035031 and @Blake. It’s certainly a pelanty based on the latest interpretation as frequently publicised this season by referee and commentator types. Any instance where you use your hand make yourself a bigger barrier inside the box (even if you’re not looking at the ball) is considered a pelanty if the ball hits said hand.
