UEFA Champions League 2018/2019 Round of 16

Hipsters just don’t get traditional English values like grit, courage, character in adversity. Las night in Paris we saw the spirit and work ethic that won two World Wars and liberated a crowd of surrender monkey layabouts that have a three hour nap in the afternoon.

Think about it . A plucky coach from a provincial Norwegian club who earlier in the season was pitting his wits v Glenavon at Mourneview in European football should really be the hipsters choice .

Did you see Lukaku “consoling” Kimpembe with his fist covering his mouth at the end last night? Should be an automatic 2-game ban.

Huh? I like Messi, I don’t like Barca. Its still not the same

Juventus XI:
Szczesny; Cancelo, Bonucci, Chiellini, Spinazzola; Emre Can, Pjanic, Matuidi; Bernardeschi, Mandzukic; Ronaldo.

Atletico Madrid XI:
Oblak; Arias, Giménez, Godín, Juanfran; Såul, Koke, Rodri, Lemar; Griezmann, Morata.

Dybala on the bench when they have to chase the game?

Man City XI:
Ederson, Walker, Danilo, Laporte, Zinchenko, Gundogan, Silva, Sterling, Sane, Bernardo, Aguero.

Schalke XI:
Fahrmann; Stambouli, Sané, Bruma; Serdar, McKennie, Bentaleb, Oczipka; Konoplyanka, Embolo, Burgstaller.

You don’t chase a game against Atletico. You have to grind them town. Juve will be playing and hoping they can get a 2-0 win at FT.

Wouldn’t think Ronaldo wants to be playing off a conventional centre forward like Mandzukic, although trying to nick one from a set-piece is the way to go vs Atleti

Mandzukic is generally excellent in big games tbf

Anfleld Legend David James on the panel here on Sony Ten.

Lovely dart in from Spinazzola there.

Italian clubs fucked over by UEFA yet again?

He’s entitled to go for that.

Very harsh.

That was a fair goal. Pile of bollox

The ball was there for sure but he did knee him in the face too.

Great officiating. Juventus aren’t in Serie A with the refs in their pocket now
