Fun fact: Arsenal become the first and only ever (past, present, future) club to lose penalty competitions in all three major European competition finals.
They are the only club to ever lose a penalty competition in a European Cup Winners’ Cup final. Liam Brady and Graham Rix the villains on that occasion at the Heysel Stadium in Brussels.
