Barcelona’s attacking play in that half is in a different solar system to anything any EPL team is capable of.
It’s an awful shame their defence is such a calamity. Brilliant game of football in a cauldron of an atmosphere.
The Liverpool game is role play. PSG are happy to plod along at 0-0 safe in the knowledge Liverpool could be there until midnight on Wednesday into Thursday and not threaten. Suits everybody. Slot doesn’t get totally humilated and PSG don’t lay out their cards. Everybody knows the result will be either 0-0 or more likely 0-1 with a goal after 68 minutes.

The Lookman goal for the Woofmen reminded me a bit of John Aldridge’s goal in the 1989 FA Cup final.

I’m listening to the CBS commentary of Liverpool v PSG. I have no idea what they are watching. It wasn’t the first cousin of a penalty.
Conversely, earlier Barcelona were denied what looked like a clear penalty and the TV3 commentary team were wrongly in full agreement it was the right decision.
He’s extremely fortunate not to have got a second yellow card for that. Blatant simulation.
