Wirtz was incredibly bad. Should have got a red card too for a petulant stamp on tough nut Bernardo Silva
Germany look short of players based on that. Could be in for a period in the doldrums. Theyâre playing too much football for the personnel they have. Those two big oil rigs that were up front for them at different stages surely just want it in the box.
Gnabry, Goretska and Sane probably all past their best. Rudiger is a huge loss.

A pal of mine cannot stand that Keith Treacy fella. I enjoy him in a salt of the Earth Dub kind of way but heâs a fairly clueless pundit. Itâs staggering that he gets so many gigs with OTB, RTĂ Radio 1 and Virgin Media.
