UFC/MMA betting

First up UFC 116.All prices with PPs
3pt win Brock Lesnar by KO 5/6
1pt win Stephan Bonnar 7/4
2pt win Kurt Pellegrino 6/4
1pt treble Brock Lesnar 4/6,Yoshihiro Akiyama 1/2,Seth Petruzelli 11/10

This weekends UFC is farly hairy to bet on I think myself. I have gone for value in two mickey mouse bets but wouldn’t reccomend anyone to do them. They are Matt Brown to win on points at 6s and Bonnar/Krystov to be Fight Of The Night at 4s(both with Paddy).
I’d normally do a max bet on one fight but can’t find a price on this one that warrants the risk, MMA is notoriously volatile to bet on especially recently, too many ways to lose.
The only bet I’d reccomend to anybody is the one below which I have done myself with Paddy also.
Brown/Lytle to go the distance at 11/8…3Pts

I like the Bonnar/Krystov FOTN bet.

I’ll have a crack at that and do an accumalator.

Just the one winner for the first attempt,Lesnars submission victory was something not many would have seen coming, the joy of MMA!

If that was Carwin pounding on anyone else the fight would have been over, fair play to Lesnar though. one tough son of a bitch.

I’m just after watching it this minute, it was a disaster for me too betting wise, but I thought it was an excellent UFC. Good pick with Bonnar Toes I thought he’d lose a decision myself. I couldn’t believe Lytle getting the sub again, I was sickened, thought it would be a 3round slugfest for sure with a winner by decision.
Lesnar has an incredible chin to take the amount of shots he did off Carwin, he’s evolving big time too as he showed with the choke.
I was delighted Leben won, I didn’t think he had a hope bar landing a bomb. He did land bombs and Akiyama was well able to take them, great chin on him too. Wandy will not be impressed with getting called out by Leben either…lol. Good match up for Leben that and I’d say he will be a nice price too. Wandy will surely gas and his chin ain’t as good as Lebens, a tough one to call but if the price is right, Leben for me.

[/quote]Leben started out as a loudmouth with little to no talent, now he’s a serious contender once more in the 185 division.Indeed Lesnar has a good chin but i wouldn;t mind seeing a rematch as Carwin is an animal!

I still don’t see him as a contender to be honest but he’s a tough proposition for anyone especially if they take him lightly. Either way I’m glad he sorted his life out for the better and has got himself a few wins in a row to boot.

Just after copping they gave out two FOTN awards so one of my bets came in with Bonnar too.

1pt BJ Penn to win on pts 11/4
2pts Demian Maia to win by submission 6/5
1pt Nate Diaz to win on pts 9/4
2pts Kenny Florian to win on pts 9/4(All above prices with Powers)
3pts Randy Couture by submission 5/4,James Toney is 6/1 for the KO for a saver(Boyles)
