I wonder will Starmer survive this? Looks like heâs busy making excuses and blaming other people for appointing Mandelson. Youâd sort of wonder why he even appointed him in the first place.

As I understand it heâs saying he wasnât told that Mandelson failed the vetting process, thatâs bonkers if so. It was always a bad call to appoint Mandelson but in fairness to him if outright not informed of something itâs hard to blame him for it.
