How? Britain is a funny one regards COVID. In Ireland almost all normal people thought COVID was a little bit of an overblown cod. In Britain the Tories seemed to think that and they are such almerciful cunts that most normal people actually ended up taking covid more seriously than their counterparts in Ireland just to be against the Tories.

I actually caught a bit of Cummings testimony to the Covid inquiry yesterday. He actually came across well until asked about his own rule breaking trip back home. Johnsonā€™s appearance will be box office as the Kings Council I saw didnā€™t suffer any bluster from Cummings so god knows what heā€™ll do to BoJo. Carrie definitely had a big say in things in no.10 and I loved the fact that they all called Boris the trolly because he changed direction so muchā€¦

Carrie would hand it back to you soft

Honestly youā€™d hand it over soft.
Boris wonā€™t answer a question. Heā€™s a master at avoiding any question he doesnā€™t like. Heā€™ll bluster his way through unscathed at worst, enhanced even.

Itā€™s actually the only thing bojo was right about. The irony.

Covid? Didnt he say something like ā€œlet the bodies pile highā€?

Allegedly, but never actually proven albeit I believe it.
I think his instincts initially were correct though, that society in general shouldnā€™t have been locked down as it was

Why did he change his approach?

He followed the idiots on twitter, he just lacked courage

Iā€™m asking about his change of approach. I have a good idea where his initial let it rip approach came from.

Yes that initial decision certainly played out well alright.

Iā€™m not going down this rabbit hole, but nobody has any idea really of the pros Vs the cons of hard lockdown Vs protect the vulnerable, weighted in qualys across the population over time. My suspicion is its weighed more heavily on the cons side.

To answer you question, because heā€™s a venal coward who acted according to the headlines.

So it wasnā€™t because he was beginning to see the implications of his let it rip approach? He was a coward for not letting more die?

A bizarre takeaway from Flattys post there. Obviously not what he was saying.
