So you say the Iraq War made the West more unstable, but for Corbyn to say it apparently makes him “an apologist” - well that also makes you an apologist because you said the same thing.
No offence, mate, but you come across as being a bit simple, and it’s also clear you didn’t watch a minute of his speech.
The Tories have been absolutely skewered on the hypocrisy of their reaction to it, as have you.
That wasn’t Corbyn’s only point though was it? Of course the Iraq war made the west more unstable, ffs, as if that needs pointing out you gomb. A couple of days after the bomb attack, he’s pushing the naval gazing we should think of our sins narrative, the timing of what he is saying is relevant. It’s the usual apologism, you’ll defend it because he’s on the left.
For you to accuse anyone else of being simple is laughable, you’re a waste of skin, mate and been exposed consistently for your hypocrisy and complete lack of self awareness. I’ve neither the time nor inclination to get into a back and forth with you. Go back to your university of wikipedia/google.
Again, you make it clear that you didn’t listen to a minute of Corbyn’s speech, because you’re again resorting the worst sort of commentary - twisting words to claim that somebody said what they didn’t say.
You haven’t the inclination to get into a back and forth because you know full well you’ll be destroyed.
In fact you’ve already destroyed whatever argument you’re trying to make with your last few posts, given the complete hypocrisy of them.
What’s even more laughable about what you’re saying is that it is in thrall to the Tory political correctness on the issue.
You know right well Corbyn is telling the inconvenient truth but you’re going meekly along with the Tory narrative of twisting the truth and saying that the truth shouldn’t be told, preferring to stick with the same policies that have failed over and over and over again because they’re “politically correct” in your deluded world.
The sooner Tory political correctness on this issue is destroyed, the sooner actual issues might begin to be addressed.
The majority of British people agree with Corbyn, which is another inconvenient truth.
I read the transcript of the speech. Incorrect. The majority of the public agree the Iraq war was a bad idea, not that it justifies blowing up kids in Manchester 14 years later. Corbyn did not directly say this, he instead being the apologist that he is, a couple of days after the attack couldn’t wait to refer to it as a mitigating type cause, lets think of what we have done, classic apologism. You destroy yourself with your posts, it’s the easiest and most time efficient way to do it.
We will also change what we do abroad. Many experts, including professionals in our intelligence and security services have pointed to the connections between wars our government has supported or fought in other countries, such as Libya, and terrorism here at home._
That assessment in no way reduces the guilt of those who attack our children. Those terrorists will forever be reviled and implacably held to account for their actions.
Its a big reason why it happened pal. This gets lost in the media though, the control they have over it. The hundreds of thousands of murders the yanks and brits are responsible for over there, murder on a daily basis is known about only if you look for the information. An attack, nowhere near the scale of their atrocities on their own lands is everywhere.
Any chance labour and the lib dems woukd chamber into bed?
The most nauseating thing about a labour victory woukd be that fat slug Diane Abbott getting a cabinet position. She is as vile as she looks.
UKIP aren’t running candidates in a lot of constituencies.
This will help the Tories.
Nevertheless, if Labour poll in the region of 36-40% on the day, Corbyn will have a damn good case to remain leader whatever seat numbers Labour end up with.
Abbott is a car crash on camera though. She’s on the Andrew Marr show tomorrow. For her to get through it without making a total clanger would be a success.
