Uk affairs, The Double Lizzie Crisis (Part 1)

Entirely possible.

Looks to me like a labour/Plaid Cymru/snp/Sinn Fein government

He will stay, no doubt about it.

Unfortunately, she failed to clear that rather low bar. They shouldn’t leave her near a microphone or a camera for the next two weeks.

Paxman is interviewing Jel and Theresa tonight. Think there are separate interviews on Channel 4 and Sky News around 20:30 .

Yup, separate sections for the two of them. Corbyn won the toss and has elected to bat first. The Paxo interview is followed by a few questions from the audience moderated by Faisal Islam from Sky News .

Better healthcare and social care is just “a childish wish list”, apparently.

You really don’t have to push Tories too hard for their true views to come out.

“But the real truth is the money’s got to come from somewhere, and I can think of lots of things that I would like to avoid making difficult decisions on and lots of areas like the health service or schools that I want to put even more money in, but unless you’ve got a strong economy creating the revenue, it’s just a childish wish list. Fancy Sydney taking a quote entirely out of context.

The quote quite clearly shows what both he and Tories in general think of the issues of healthcare and social care and where they lie in their list of priorities, ie. pretty low down. They’ve already made that quite clear over the last seven years.

There’s no point arguing any more.

I disagree

Certainly. There really is little point arguing with a man who believes people who use food banks are not living in poverty, as Mr. Raab does.

Not taken out of context.

Independent.co.uk is as bad as the Mail is at this point.

The Independent supported the Tories in 2015.

So what? It has since stopped publishing a print edition and has pitched itself fully as the voice of the young, liberal, social media type. The headline they put up on social media would never have seen the light of their print edition.

That’s as asinine a point as citing The Sun changing who they suppprted between the Tories and New Labour or vice versa.

So what? You just said it was as bad as the Mail, implying that it was a left-wing equivalent of the Mail.

They supported the Tories in 2015, and with Corbyn rather than Miliband now leading Labour there’s absolutely no reason to think they’ll do otherwise this time.

You’ve been called on your bullshit. Deal with it.
