BBC will be the default setting but there will be a lot of flicking no doubt. ITV is not carried on my television provider.

I had previously heard that Huw Edwards would be anchoring this year but I see now that David Dimbleby will be back in the hot seat for the tenth and presumably final time.

The problem with the BBC’s coverage is that since the six counties moved to counting the votes overnight as opposed to the following afternoon, much of the coverage of what’s happening on the mainland will be blocked out, which is quite annoying.

BBC streams have got much more difficult to pick up online over the last few weeks and Hola is hit and miss.

The lack of the “Arthur” theme tune for the last couple of elections has been very disappointing.
