She’s already failed. She reminds me of the character Nicola Murray from the thick of it. Accidental leader on borrowed time.
If I was labour I’d be putting the full court press on her to do a debate. Adds calling her out etc. I’d make that the next two weeks, why is May afraid to debate? Is it because she hasn’t a clue what’s going on? Is she lying to the public etc.
The state pay for your nursing home and when you die they take your house off you, sell it and leave a hundred grand to your family from the proceeds. Not clear if they change the locks on the place during the funeral or after. I have no idea why people don’t like this.
The visit ended up being Friday. I would seriously consider euthanasia for myself after seeing it for a day.
The Fair Deal is currently costing the state €1bn a year and projected to grow by a further €50m each year. If you wish to politicise it, you can say that the PDs arranged for this sum to be paid by the state to private providers many of whom built or extended on the back of tax breaks for the wealthy. However most of them built at too high a cost for the EBITDA available and even though operating pretty efficiently at high capacity will not solve that problem in the foreseeable future.
It’s a tax introduced by the Tories that has given the entire party dementia. No one is quite sure what the terms are and Teresa isn’t even sure if it’s a thing anymore.
Just FYI information @Tim_Riggins I believe the Tories will still win by 10-12 points with a thumping majority and Labour’s seat total will be under 200 due to the Tories cleaning up in marginal seats.
