Uk affairs, The Double Lizzie Crisis (Part 1)
Back the Tories over the 286.5 seats handicap. Will be a swing back and tactical voting in marginals.
Labour under 268.5 as per my betting thread, most bookies have a handicap of 266.5. Will lose 40 seats in Scotland.
Back the SNP over the 49.5 seats handicap with William Hill, most bookies go 51.5.
Clegg to be Deputy PM at 4/1. Lib Dems will be needed either way as the Tories will need them and Labour/SNP will probably need them. They’re going to be hockeyed though. Back unders handicap on seats for them.
All my handicap bets look certain now.

Clegg won’t be Deputy PM though. Still, 4/5 ain’t bad.

If the Conservative and Unionist Party fall a few seats short of an overall majority, a coalition with the Democratic Unionist Party seems the sensible option.

Ed"red" Miliband, Neil Kinnock, Tony Blair, Nick Clegg, can you hear me Clegg, your boys took one of a beating, ONE HELL OF A BEATING

The NI results moving in line with Britain is shit in terms of TV coverage. Give me David Dimbleby please.
Congrats Tassotti, now for the referendum on Europe!!

Liberals are RATTLED!!

Labour and Red Ed are RATTLED.

That’s a fairly miserable performance from Labour if it comes true.
If the Conservative and Unionist Party fall a few seats short of an overall majority, a coalition with the Democratic Unionist Party seems the sensible option.
What a mouthwatering prospect, 5 more years of Economic growth and stability to look forward to in any case with David Cameron at the helm

If it’s 316 for the Tories, under 10 for the Lib Dems and 9 for the DUP, the Tories and DUP could muster 325 between them. That’s a precarious majority which could be eroded quickly. The Lib Dems might want to stay out of the arrangement for the long term future of the party.

really delighted to see the lib dems decimated along with Labour

Turned on BBC to find that BBC NI are doing their own panel thing with Mary Lou and the likes. Clearly nowhere near as good as the main BBC show. Seething.

what have you got to say now Ed Miliband?

@Tassotti, will you stay up until 4am to see the results coming through live before heading straight to the gym?

Paddy Ashdown, what a clown, hope he has sauce to go with his hat when he is ateing it

Lib Dems should run a mile from that but a coalition with the DUP would be unbelievably precarious and even the Tories would want to avoid that at all costs you’d imagine.

SNP predicted to get all but 1 seat in Scotland. Seems ridiculously high but even if they’re close it will be a huge point of friction now between Scotland and London. Might just hurry along the next referendum for the Scots.
@Tassotti, will you stay up until 4am to see the results coming through live before heading straight to the gym?
no Bandage, sleep is an essential and vital part of my fitness regime, it enables my body to grow and replenish itself

This is a perfect result for the SNP. Possible total clean sweep in Scotland and five more years of Tory rule with the DUP thrown in for good measure. This will increase the push for independence big time.

They were doomed the day they elected Ralph’s younger lad back in 2010. You’d have thought they would have learned their lesson with unelectable leaders in the 80’s/early 90’s with Michael Foot and Neil Kinnock. To compound it all, they ran an awful campaign. Shades of Michael Noonan 2002.

where is that Raymond Crotty lad and his “predictions”

Sunderland results expected in first… They pride themselves in being first up.

The Yougov exit poll is very different:

CON 284 MPs, LAB 263, LIBS 31, SNP 48, UKIP 2, PLAID 3, GREEN 1
