The people of Britain have rejected Labour, they have rejected their message
I wasn’t disputing that. I was arguing that it was unexpected, which it was. Even the SNP themselves were very wary of the exit poll because it was at the extreme end of their expectations.
fitting that our victory coincides with VE day, the lib dem twat next store is gone mental on twitter, he was just going in home to go to bed at 5 o clock when I was off to the gym
jesus Galloway looks fucking sickened above in Bradford
you can really feel something different in the air, something really exciting, Britain has suddenly become a safer place to live, this is also great news for Ireland aswell lads, exciting times ahead, a strong Britain, means a strong ireland
I assume Labour will react to this by opting for a more centrist leader. But they should be mindful of what just happened to middle ground Lib Dems. Their stance on immigration was disgusting anyway, an embarrassment to their supposed ideals and good riddance to Ed.
The SNP Tory dynamic will be fascinating.
:D:clap:
Now this, if true, is the best news if the evening. Repulsive politician.
It has to be said the UK election system is an utter joke, and I’m approaching that from a right-wing knuckle dragger perspective, as UKIP should have about 80 MPs but will instead have one.
The Irish election system is far superior in terms of representing what the people have voted for.
The constituency boundaries make the whole thing a bit unbalanced too.
savage the way the British conduct an election, no roasters elbowing people out of the way and shouldering other roasters when the results are announced.
The Green take Brighton Pavillion
David Cameron arrives at no 10
The BBC will be well and truly sickened
Tipp man George Osbourne is very happy “its always nice to see a neighbour come home after a hard nights work” when referring to David Cameron arriving at no 10
Disappointing election for the Shinners, should really be going after the Stoops much more aggressively. Of course there is still a good degree of gerrymandering that benefits the Unionist vote up North.
Paddy Ashdown about to eat his hat
The sandwich election
Lib Dems sandwiched
Labour sandwiched
Ed milliband sandwiched
looks like we are heading for 329, what a day
UKIP got 3.5 million votes and one seat. The SNP got 1.5 million votes and 50 seats. What an absolute sham of a democracy it is over there.
