Uk affairs, The Double Lizzie Crisis (Part 1)

The first time I heard the word truss used in everyday conversation was after the twin towers of the World Trade Centre collapsed.

I’ve never associated it with anything good.

Id say given her history , she’d have no problem letting you row in from behind

What odds is Boris to be the next PM?

The question is not what odds is he to be the next Prime Minister but what odds is he to be Prime Minister by Christmas.

If I was a bookie I’d offer about 11/8.

100 billion package incoming from Prime Minister Truss to deal with the cost of living

She can’t go wrong. She’ll either buy the next election, and bugger off after six years, or she’ll scorch the earth for whoever is next.

She’s only keeping the seat warm for Boris so she can’t scorch too much. The cutting tax thing was the usual ruse to get the simple minded vote. She will have to spend like fuck

Her problem is she will crash sterling further, pushing up the price of oil and gas and, well pretty much everything.

Now shes in the big seat her problem is retaining the red wall. The Tories have been a de facto socialist party for the last few years. I expect they will continue in that vein for some time to come

Bribing the electorate.
I wonder where it will end.
IMF I’d imagine.

Bribery and a big doubling down on refugees/immigints ought to do it, unless Sir Kier gets the finger out his hole

As long as 3/4 of the media backs the Tories, they will carry on

proper leadership
