I think it surprised them with resulting large swings. Big money at stake though so Iād imagine the more enterprising firms would be looking to engage their own exit-pollsters to get a jump.
The same chap reckoned he got in wrong , he reckoned margin would be 55:45 at least . His job involves lots of contact with the British public .
