That is a despicable attitude, but entirely to be expected from the lowlife who wrote it
Calm down pet, it’s been a bad night for you.
Slan Doddsy
Your previous post proves everything I’ve ever said about you pal
There’s no shame in seeing the party you want to win lose an election
Being an ethno-nationalist fanatic who openly advocates gerrymandering and the suppression of an ethnic minority is utterly shaameful, but it’s entirely in keeping with your entire history on this forum
Of course the irony is that your ideology is similar to that of the likes of Nigel Dodds, actually Doddsy would probably be a bleeding heart by comparison
John Finucane is the MP for Belfast North exactly 30 years and 10 months after his father’s murder
Five minutes ago you were accusing me of being a loyalist .
You are an utter spoofer and a shameless liar
Your ideology is pretty much identical to extreme Loyalists
You should stop lying that it isn’t
Quite a dignified concession speech by Doddsy
Hopefully he’ll make a good contribution in Dail Eireann in about a decade should he be fairly elected as a TD in the new democratic and fairly drawn five seat constituency of North-West Belfast
Very magnanimous concession speech by the outgoing Member of Parliament for North Belfast, Deputy Dodds. North Belfast now has no representation in Westminster. What a waste of a vote voting for abstentionist candidates.

Almost nobody could find this formula in the 1930s, and when they did they had war declared on them
Every country is different and has its own peculiarities, but this stuff is happening on multiple continents.
What matters is who voters think their politicians are fighting for. The far right has convinced a lot of people that they are fighting for them – even if they’re corrupt, stupid liars.
For the far right this is driven by identity, xenophobia, race, antagonism toward the outsider. The challenge for the left/center is to find a way to convince voters that they are on their side, without capitulating on hate.
I think this is hard, but within the realm of the possible. But it cannot be done by pining for the lost consensus or appealing to civility/decency/expertise. Voters know all that, and they don’t care.
