Ulster Championship 2024

Meyler, McGeary, Burns, Sludden and McCurry were brilliant today.

Tyrone have a very strong bench

Sure Fulvio is the only one of those from Tyrone

Making good progress.

Do well to get past Monaghan first however.

Tell me, do you think Tyrone are the better for new management?

That result and score line scream YES….

Certainly haven’t regressed since Harte left.

Poor league. Certainly have had a big impact on McGeary and Meyler who are playing serious football this year.

Poor auld Murphy. After all the days he carried them

So, yes or no, on balance?

Langan should have gone down when Mogan threaded that Modric style pass through to him and Morgan impeded him. You have to give the referee a decision to make.

Was thinking the same at the time myself

Morgan was well wise to that. He was never going to touch him.

He clearly obstructed him after Langan had pushed the ball past him.

No way they were winning that after Murphy got the line.

I’d say that’s the end of the line for Declan Bonner.

Too early to tell really.

Logan and Dooher have McShane and McKenna together, something Harte didn’t have.

Some players look to be excelling under them though.

McGeary

That was bizarre.

Pat Spillane is close to passing out :joy:

I’ve seen players sent off for literally not touching an opponent. John Cunningham in the 1992 Ulster final was sent off despite not making contact with Dermot McNicholl when he lunged in. So I don’t think it’s much of a stretch at all to suggest that what Morgan did was a foul on Langan. Langan was too honest and you don’t get rewarded for being honest.

Ryan McHugh looks done.
