There has been a huge outpouring of love for Sinead O Connor since her passing. However while alive I don’t think she was universally loved.
Paul McGrath and Shane McGowan are the only two Irish people that come to mind that are loved by all. Both have had their troubles with alcohol which is often a blind spot for many.
