The logical follow on from it is that the poster who expressed annoyance at Christy Dignam being interviewed would surely also feel the same annoyance at similar air time being offered to Charlie Bird and Vicky Phelan.

I’ve had the misfortune of seeing Aslan play live a number of times in the 00’s, I never saw the attraction personally. This Is is certainly a classic, but Crazy World never did it for me, and Dignam was a bit of an arse*
*but this is ok, because he was on drugs.
Christy Ring had a brother who would have been better than him only for the drink.

Yet her COTY nomination and voting on by people who post here got very little attention.
You badly missed a trick there by not following up with “Christy Dignam was a heroin”.
Seems to me that a lot of people misunderstand what happened with the cervical cancer screening thing and Vicky Phelan nor the media who afforded her a platform are not entirely blameless as regards that misinformation.
Agreed. I believe she was a nominee here for a v distasteful award. Up there with the lowest points on this forum. Up there with the poster making fun of @BruidheanChaorthainn friend who passed away in a car accident
