There’s no competition.

Glasgow has given us The Blue Nile, Belle & Sebastian and The Pastels among a host of others.

Edinburgh- The Bay City Rollers and The Proclaimers.

Edinburgh doesn’t exist musically in comparison tho i think the Beta Band might be Edinburgh

I read somewhere lately (within the last three weeks) that the Reid brothers of the Jesus And Mary Chain “were the sort of people who wouldn’t have even known what Celtic and Rangers were”.

Were they shinty heads?

Bobby Gillespie is a massive Celtic fan

What did Bobby do?

Neither Glesga nor Edinboro has given us Scotland’s finest musical act - Deacon Blue (Dundee).

I’d agree. I’d also like to add Fleetwood Mac into it though. Dirt.

As a meat I think lamb is highly overrated

Lads going on about how they like their steaks cooked is gas. Lads eating it red raw with blood coming out of it freezing cold thinking they are impressing people.

It’s certainly overpriced but a trio of lamb chops is hard beat.
That said, I’m not a huge fan of it otherwise - be it in a stew or a roast.

You could be onto something here.

Winner alright…

You are seen as being a right roaster altogether when ordering it ‘well done’.

Too fatty and gristly for me. I don’t mind a slice of cold leg of lamb on a bit of home made brown bread but not big on the roasts or the stew.

That looks sublime, if a bit diminutive

Thats perfect, I’d lift that plate up and drink the juice

I do hear lads ordering steak and saying “oh burn it, I like it burnt”. These people are undoubtably boggers and most likely serial killers.

They haven’t a clue how to do a good steak over in the States. They’d hand something up to you that would somehow be cremated on the outside, pink in the middle and drier than Gandhi’s sandal

I used to enjoy a good steak, but I find I’ve gone off it in recent months having had a couple of bad ones.
