No coincidence that the US has lost every Ryder Cup played under Trump.

isnt it?

Maybe in the USA; the great teams from Italy in the 1930s, Brazil and Argentina in the 60s & 70s all born from fascist or military dictatorships

Brazil had a democratic government in 1958 and 1962 and the team failed at the 1966 World Cup which was the first World Cup under the military dictatorship.

The 1978 Argentina team was led by Cesar Luis Menotti who was a left wing intellectual.

Did you mind when Dublin picked Diarmuid Connolly or Cormac Costello or any other red card and suspension dodgers?

The GGA appeals process is watertight compared to whatever process employed by FIFA

Ah, so player picks up a red, is banned from the next match according to the rule book, but others intervene to pull strokes to get him playing.

Let’s face it, you walked into that one, because you’re a stupid dickhead.

In fairness the introduction of the DRA by the GAA was a master stroke and has tidied up the whole disciplinary process.

It had to be done. What happened with Connolly and the Tyrone lads, et al was despicable.

Sure it was the DRA that rescinded Connolly’s suspension

Not a racist, paedophile warmongerer? :man_shrugging:

Exactly

Sad to see an honourable guy like Pochettino stooping to Gavin and Gilroy levels all the same.
Should never have picked him.

So Infantino the president of FIFA gives a pretend ‘Peace’ award to Trump the leader of the freeworld who is facilitating a genocide and started a completely unnecessary war. This lad is a paedophile too btw. But anyway Trump then bullies Infantino into waiving a suspension for a US player to allow him to play a Wuddled cup quarter final. Somehow in your head this is the same as Diarmuid Connolly having a red card rescinded by the relevant body 10 years ago.

You’re as thick as shit and I’d guess twice the smell of it.

Apology accepted

You realise thats why the DRA came in because of cases like that, you proved my point.

The relevant body just woke up one morning and decided to rescind his red card?
Just for the sake of it and no one asked them to do it.

I’d hate to think there were people trying to get a guilty player off on technicalities, even though he clearly committed an offence.

That would be ‘strokes for me, but not for thee’…
