Hope Rors wins the Masters. Grand lad, proud Irishman
Shaping up to be a cracking tournament this year with Woods, McIlroy, Donald, Rose, Westwood and another couple of the Americans all with genuine claims.
Forza Molinari Brothers.
From a betting perspective Woods and McIlroy are shocking prices. Mickelson and Donald are better value. Webb Simpson 70/1 and Bubba Watson at 55/1 are my outside picks.
I did an auld random sweep in work with the top 11 golfers and AN Other/The Field assigned to the 12 staff.
Checked with a pal in PP and was surprised to learn that in that instance, the field is about evens. I drew Adam Scott and was happy to get a fellow Aussie with a reasonable shot at the title. Looking fwd to Sunday evening now.
From a betting perspective, it can often be worth spotting a couple of high odd bolters. When they shoot a good first round their odds nose dive and then you can trade out on betfair.
I’d agree that there’s no value in the Woods/McIlroy’s of this world.
I had Tom Watson at 1500/1 e/w when he came second in The Open. Only 25c each way but it was a welcome almost €100.
Dustin Johnson has been ruled out with a back injury (insert your Natalie Gulbis joke here !!)
from a betting perspective it can pay to pick the winner
Bar One Racing are paying 7 places…
I’m going doing a few mickey mouse 1 and 2 euro ew bets on the following
Mark Wilson 200/1
Ye Yang 125/1
KJ Choi 66/1
Ricky Fowler 90/1
Martin Kaymer 60/1
I might have a half decent bet on Jason Day at 35/1 also.

Don’t waste you rmoney on Kaymer, he’s yet to make the weekend at Augusta.
I’m going with McIlroy, Bradley Keegan and Rickie Fowler.
The curly haired cock can be backed @ 9/1 with William Hill
We’re under way folks
I’ve thrown a few quid each way on Bo Van Pelt
What time does coverage start at DB?
7pm on Sky Totti
Harrington all the way.
Early eagle for Harrington rockets him into a 2 shot lead. Blow it up ref!
Tiger’s away in 3 minutes
