US Masters Golf from Augusta National Golf Club

Starts on Thursday.

Anyone got any strong fancies. Can’t look past Tiger myself. Even at 7/4 or 2/1, I think he is value.

Will prob back someone else each way aswell but haven’t studied the form in great detail yet.

Usually back a few for the majors. Always back Paddy so he’ll get an e/w bet. Geoff Ogilvey for an e/w too. Tiger bet to win, bet to nothing really. Outside bet, Goosen!

Might have a look at Stenson e/w. Anyone got any outright prices yet?

Paul Casey hits the ball a mile and just won in Heuston. Up to 6th in world.
McElroy, Harrintgon, Geoff g, Garcia, Big Phil etc all have to have a great chance.
Tiger won recently but had to go sinking monster putts to do that. He won’t get it that handy in Augusta. Personally I think 2/1 or 7/4 is shocking, but he is certainly up there with the rest to have a great chance. Just not 7/4.
Anwyay, I’ll be in 2-channel land for Easter so I’ll just get the Sunday night.

Yours etc,
GSH.

9/4 is a decent price on Tiger (if it’s still there), he’s bound to be shorter than that at some stage over the weekend even if he doesn’t win it.

Eldrick .

Might have a punt on Rory for the laugh.

mightnt be a bad idea… he is playing well. could be an each way shot

The hilariously named Mike Weir is always there or there abouts.

will be looking for a price on McIlroy missing the cut

5/2 DB

will most certainly be having a large slice of that.

Cheers Mac

Cant see Tiger being beaten, Ogilvy will be up there aswell. Not sure about Harrington, the guy drives me nuts with his self analysis dont get me wrong hes a fantastic player but i hate the mind games he plays with himself. Hope Garcia can challange for his first major.

Gary Player has announced this will be his last Masters. Would be a good farewell to a legend of the game if he won so I’d back that if I were you DB.

wouldnt back Woods at that price but for a bit of interest…

Kim 45/1
Villegas 45/1

Choi 80/1
Stricker 80/1

Going to throw a few euro on Mcilroy at 30/1. Could see him having a great week

He had a great quote when he announced this would be his last major

“I hit the ball so short now I can hear it land”

Anyone got a good site for form on this?

I went stone mad placing bets on this today. Was up over 600 from the National last week so fook it, why not.
Here are my list of probable losers.

Harrington 10ew at 20/1(Lads had a special offer price for 1hour only today/he was 16s at start)
Sergio Garcia 5ew at 40/1
Anders Romero 2.50ew at 100/1
Stephen Ames 2.50ew at 175/1
KJ Choi 2.50ew at 80/1
Ian Poulter 2.50ew at 100/1
50euro spent in total, lets hope for at least two near the business end of things Sunday night.
