US Masters Golf from Augusta National Golf Club

Butch laughing his hole off at Rory mcilroy

Incoming 4 putt from Rory

The dullest and most uninteresting Masters commentated on by the great Peter Alliss was more exciting and interesting than the most exciting and interesting Masters without the great Peter Alliss commentating.

I was going to watch it but as far as I can see theres no narrative or interesting characters to even bother my hole

Aberg going to be leader very shortly here.

Can one of our IFSC members get their hands on the KPMG scorecard holder used by Morikawa for me?

Ticking along nice & steady

It’s when he goes in front is the real test.

Oh well

As someone who only really tunes in on the back nine on a Sunday that pretty much confirms my suspicions. I can still recall a great run of it from 1986 through to 1991 with Jack Nicklaus, Larry Mize, Sandy Lyle, Nick Faldo (twice) and Ian Woosnam all either winning on the last hole or in a play off.

In the 30 odd years or so since, there’s probably been only 2 or 3 times it wasn’t all but wrapped up from a long way out. The Augusta Masters now is just dull parkland golf. @Bandage has the right idea going to bed around 9 on a Sunday night.

The Swede…

Fuuuuuick

Scheffler is different gear to the big swede

So unlucky there for Eagle that would have put it to bed.

McGinley is a fuckin nuisance on commentary.

Yep

Morikawa faltering

I think yer man Max Homa has the chops to be the challenger to Scheffler here but Scheffler might well turn on the afterburners and win by a good few now.
