US Masters Golf from Augusta National Golf Club

Flesh that one out there WITJ if you can.

You weren’t dropped on your head in that now infamous “hospital” in Ennis at some stage of your youth by any chance, were you?
Harrington opens with a 3 under 69 - 3 off the pace. Putt on 18 from about 12ft. for birdie did everything but drop.

McDowell and McIlroy both under par out on the course.
McIlroy down to +1

McDowell -5, 2 off the lead. Excellent start

It’s best to ignore that fella Boxty

You forget how boring golf is on any day that isn’t the last day of a tournament
Hard to get excited about anything that’s going on now.
That Chad Campbell is a smug bastard, I hope he does a tin cup on the last few

Ah! Fran, I just felt like getting the oul’ dig in about Ennis hospital. The other Clare lads have, well, eh, recovered a bit.

The natives are wavering Boxty
Auld lad hasn’t been down for two weeks and has missed his dose of “CB fever”- he’s contemplating not going to New Inn, instead saving himself for the final:D

Woods has this in the bag already it seems despite a mild enough opening round where he only opened up briefly in the middle of the back nine.

Harrington is sitting nicely, he tends to improve over the weekend so should be in the shakeup.

McIlroy scrambled a decent score also and McDowell is going well.

Nice to see the birdies flying in.

Anders Romero at 50/1 is catching my eye at this stage, he had 6 birds and an eagle yesterday and can putt.

zzzzz you sir are an idiot.

The Masters is kicking off next week I believe. Any early fancies? Tiger Woods is the current favourite. I’d give Nick Watney a chance on his recent form.

Northern Irelands Rory McIllroy is leading the Masters at -5

Great to see that cunt Poulter 4 putt the last

Clubhouse leader - I look forward to a similar collapse to the one he had at British open after leading after round 1 there. I despise the cunt

Mickelson couldn’t hit a cows arse with a banjo at this stage

+1.

That Ewen Murray on Sky Sports is one painful cunt too.

Who’s +1 Bandage?

Fair dues to Rory, great start from the Irishman

good start alright by the irishman who looks forward to representing not so great britain in the olympics

That was another of his big gaffs.
The guys is young, but he is just so far up his own hole it’s not funny.
He betlittles the ryder cup, has a pop at Woods (who has 14 majors already).
My biggest issue is that he should pick a side and stick to it.
The GUI is an all ireland body. There is no golfing entity called Northern Ireland.
He spent his youth getting training and being flown around all under the umbrella of the Golfing Union of Ireland.
Then he says that he would like to play for team GB in 2016.
If the GUI was good enough for him and the world cup was good enough for him to play for Ireland then why not just stick with Ireland?

Yours in being proud to be Irish and knowing who the hell I am,
GSH.

Who gives a fuck! I see your points and all that but ffs the Tyrone capt and manager and the GAA president were shouldering the coffin of a PSNI officer the other day. We all need to build a bridge and get over it.

Fuck off Locke, this little cur needs manners put on him, I’m with GSH, apart from when he tried to make the Ryder Cup something that shouldnt be ridiculed.

Golfer who travels on a British passport wants to represent GB in the Olympics. Ffs lads go away and make the plans for the bridge you need to build and don’t forget the key-stone in the middle
