I am sitting watching the second station of the national broadcaster, as the dusk falls, with a gin and tonic in my hand, and a window slightly open. The only sounds I can hear are the sounds of the birds outside singing in the spring twilight, the knowledgeable patrons at Augusta applauding, and the velvet voice of the incomparable Peter Alliss.
It is a state of the deepest, deepest relaxation.

+1 on bbc coverage. A god send. Hard to pick a winner. Reed is another Monty, can’t close out big tournaments but great in Ryder Cup. He won’t win it I’d put any money on it. Think McIlroy will do it
