I’d say your right on Dougherty. Amazing how quickly some of these lads disappear.
Doughtery retired in 2009 or 2010 completely mentally blown out. He had the ability to be one of the very best but hadn’t the head
They’re saying they might restart at 10.15. Worst of the rain will be cleared by then.
He had Di Stewart to console him though.
2008 was his Masters appearance
I’d take that consolation twice a week.
Anyone mention Sullivan yet?
I’d say we’ve everything boxed off bar the tans
Another hateful little fat cunt
That’s another. Did Tom Lewis qualify off the back of his good Open?
I don’t think they’d let you in for that. Was he not an amateur then?
Was Philip Walton not considered?
He broke 3 clubs on 1 hole before. You’d never think it to look at him. Seems mild mannered. Golf can do funny things to people.
No idea. I don’t follow golf. I might watch it in during the Open, the Masters and the Ryder Cup and that’s about it. I did flick it on last night for an hour. Quite apart from his lack of playing pedigree, McGinley’s delivery is a bit suspect. A grating, whiney kind of voice with a tendency to chop his words. The dulcet tones of Peter Alliss or even Ken Brown out on the course, it is not.
He had to have 4 go’s at saying compartmentalise last night
What a shot from Hideki
Was Philip Walton not considered?
Jaysus you couldnt put Philip Walton in front of the Yanks with his squeaky voice.
My bets Thomas and Conners melting down in the last ten minutes.
Justin Thomas having a mental breakdown
Wasn’t it Eamonn Darcy that holed the winning putt in 1987 to beat a two times US Masters champion, Ben Crenshaw to wrap up a first Ryder Cup win for the visitors in the US in over half a century? Surely an iconic Ryder Cup moment like that warranted the captaincy for Eamonn Darcy.
Justin Thomas is on fire
And a Dunhill Cup winner
