US Politics - A Society in Meltdown

And deservedly so.

A booming economy, tough on crime and a loveable rogue.

59% of Americans (as of Feb 10) state they are better off financially now than they were a year ago. Optimism is at a high last seen when Bill Clinton was in office. Unemployment is at 3.6%, wages are up +3%, and up +5% for lower income workers.

And yet the loony left think things are really bad because there’s too many rich people, or something.

If President Trump is re-elected the INTERNET will be utterly epic .

And they’re right. Meanwhile @anon7035031 dismisses the views of real people. His whole INTERNET career has been based on exactly that.

The reality is that the US economy is a massive bubble waiting to burst driven by the same insane policies that George W. Bush implemented.

@anon7035031 and some of the other eejits here would also have said the US economy was in great shape in 2007, and 1928, had they been around then.

The entire loony left worldview is based on envy. How dare people be successful.

Look at those rich cunts over there, I deserve the same as they have even though I spend 24/7 spewing hate on the Internet. Fuck those people who work hard, saved for a down payment and bought a house, I deserve a free house right next to them. Actually their house should be taken off them and given to a more deserving layabout. Fuck those people who saved to send their kids to college, I deserve whatever $ they saved even though I spent all my money on fags and booze.

While you’re at it, open up the borders and let everyone in, open up the prisons and let all the murderers and rapists free, and tax working people more to pay for all for this, including all the added police needed to catch the criminals you have released.

Luckily Americans by and large are not envious people, admire the successful and have disdain for criminals and scumbags. There’s a lot to be said for a strong work ethic and respect for law and order.

That’s some unhinged rant. The rantings of a complete madman who has just eaten a pile of Ayn Rand books.

Funnily enough, you neglect to mention that in your rare less unhinged moments, you’ve been in full agreement with me that the US economy is a bubble.

Again, I hate to make you look like a fool but you thoroughly deserve it.

Yes, the stock market is in a bubble, I’ve been saying that since 2016.

The stock market is not the economy, stupid.

Yeah, the stock market isn’t the economy. But Trump thinks it is. And now apparently you do too, before suddenly changing your mind, before suddenly changing it back again. Your problem is you change your opinions from post to post because you don’t know your arse from your elbow. That’s what happens when you try and play a character to garner a few cheap likes from simpletons on the internet in some bizarre quest for moral support.

It’s also why you end up saying such contradictory nonsense as “Bernie Sanders is finished” before the campaign has even begun before telling us he’ll overwhelmingly win the popular vote if he’s the Democratic presidential candidate before telling us he can’t win.

At least I don’t change alias every other week, get kicked off the forum for being an utter cunt and then cowardly deny the sins of my previous incarnations.

But carry on.

You seem to be hallucinating there. I’ll leave you to it.

In the context of stock market bubbles.

Heard an interesting one yesterday.
Market valuation of top two US tech stocks(Apple + Microsoft) is greater than the entire German stock market combined. And it’s not even close.

$2.8t vs $2t

Why is Sanders a populist?

Because he promises things that are popular with lots of people and champion taking on the “elite”, free health care for everyone, free college education for everyone, forgive student debt, soak the rich, break up large corporations, etc.

Ah. So you’ve mistaken good well reasoned popular policies for populism. No surprise there.

populism: a political approach that strives to appeal to ordinary people who feel that their concerns are disregarded by established elite groups.

Are you arguing that Bernie is not doing this? If so you are 100% wrong, no surprise there. populism can be anywhere on the spectrum of left or right, Chavez was a populist.

Get with the programme. Anything which might improve the lives of ordinary people is bang out of order.

JFK was such a socialist extremist. Thankfully he got shot before he could implement the insanity of universal healthcare.
