The Monica Lewinsky case would absolutely be dealt with as sexual harassment and abuse of power today, the argument of consent is not credible when you are dealing with the most powerful man in the world and a 22 year old intern.

It could be well the case that this guy was too drunk to remember anything. He could be lying.
He made statement though and has a preference. Just because you want to drool over this as a piece of theatre, completely irrelevant to your life, doesn’t mean a private citizen should have to give you what you want. You know well even if he went and repeated this evidence in front of cameras that you wouldn’t change your position.

If I’m still up at that hour and watching something it’s AC360 followed by the first part of Rachel Maddow.
He has denied the allegation, he has said publicly that he has never seen Kavanaugh act in the manner described by the accuser.
You do realize how vague the details of the occasion are? She can’t recall the timeframe, where it occurred, how she got there, how she got home etc. Pretty hard for him to recall details of an event if she doesn’t. Put yourself in his place. “Do you remember being at a party somewhere, sometime in 1982, where minors were drinking alcohol”.
At this point I would be more concerned that the accuser has yet to agree to attend the hearing and not responded to repeated requests from the committee.
