What a fucking disgrace of a “news” organization CNN has become. The President of the United States meeting today with the North Korean dictator to continue a dialog to reduce tension on the Korean peninsula, and hopefully avoid a conflict which could take 10 million lives in 30 minutes. Meanwhile Pakistan has shot down two Indian military jets and India are massing troops on the Pakistani border.

Might the American public want to know about the talks in Vietnam or the potential for a nuclear conflict between India and Pakistan? Nope, wall to wall overage all day and all night on Trump having paid off a porn star that he allegedly had an affair with when he was a private citizen. Not a second allotted to the news items above, but guest after guest wheeled out to bash Trump.

It’s no wonder the American public regard the mainstream media as an absolute joke.

In fairness if he hadn’t of paid off the porn star it wouldn’t be on the news.

There has been a long time unwritten rule in America that stuff damaging to the president can wait if the president is out of the country on official business. Watergate speculation stopped when Nixon went to China for example.
The rolling out of convicted liar Cohen whilst Trump is meeting North Korea was a new low. It could have waited a few days ffs.

Jim Acosta of CNN having a right whinge this morning about being ignored at Trump’s press conference last night, where Acosta wanted to dominate proceedings as usual and grandstand about the Cohen circus. This from an employee of a network who devoted less than 2 minutes during the prime time slots of 8 - 11PM to the US/NK summit and devoted 141 minutes to the Cohen circus and zero (0) minutes to the hostilities on the India Pakistan border.

Here’s Acosta’s tweet “Trump called on reporters from Chinese state media, Russian state media and Fox News”. Lying scumbag, Trump also called on reporters from ABC, CBS, New York Times, Bloomberg, Washington Post, and NPR.
