How would that work?
If no one has a majority going in to the convention it goes to a vote. If the DNC’s preferred candidate is winning (Warren or even Biden) they would force the other candidates to step aside. The DNC hate Bernie and don’t want him as the candidate, so Hillary could be seen as a compromise candidate. It could piss off a lot of Democrats but it wouldn’t be the first time the DNC has shot itself in the foot.

Yes, the delegates are the ones voting, but they can change their vote after the first round of voting. It’s looking very unlikely anyone will have a majority going in to the convention. In the second round superdelegates also vote, there’s 700 of them of the total of 4764 delegates.

Bernie has taken the lead in the latest polls in Iowa and New Hampshire. Warren is collapsing after her ill judged attack on him, and wheeling out Hillary to attack him this week helped him further. “Nobody likes Bernie” she said without a trace of irony.
