There’s a partial result due by 5PM EST 
Yes, it’s a farce, only 5 states have caucuses, time to abandon them and go to a ballot in all states. This is extremely embarrassing to Democrats and is taking away valuable momentum from the winners. It looks like Sanders, Warren and Buttigieg will split the 41 delegates between them.
Biden will be gone by next week after the New Hampshire primary, and Buttigieg will assume the role of centrist candidate.
With 62% reporting, % of delegates:
Buttigieg 26.9%
Sanders 25.1%
Warren 18.3%
Biden 15.6%
Klobuchar 12.6%
That’s the worst part alright. Trump can use this as a stick to beat the Democrats with. And whoever wins this now they’ll be associated in a negative way with the farce that was the delayed result from Iowa. Also everyone has left the area now for New Hampshire so whoever wins won’t get a chance to make a victory speech in front of cheering supporters. Just a shambles all round and I wonder would you be better off at this stage coming a close second in Iowa than actually winning it.
If early indications that Buttigieg has taken it then it’ll be some upset. He was 10/1 to win the Iowa caucus, fourth behind Sanders, Biden and Warren. Sleepy Joe looks toast already.

Buttigieg has spent the last three months campaigning in Iowa, while Sanders and Warren have been tied up with the impeachment trial in the Senate. Buttigieg is also benefiting from Biden’s collapse.
He has a good shot with Biden floundering. The people who wouldn’t vote for him because he’s gay wouldn’t vote Democrat anyway, and most Independents are pro same sex marriage so won’t hurt him with that decisive group.
Hes also a veteran which would help him agin captain bonespurs.Does he still serve?.I think he has a good shot if he wins the primary,i think he’d also peel away some of Trumps religious voters.
Honorably discharged in 2017. He’s got a pretty good resume, articulate and has a sensible realistic platform. It will probably come down to Sanders and himself.
