Nope, you have to put a lot more than that together, as anyone with even a passing interest in the subject would know the rough breakdown of the US population by race.
The fundamental question here is whether police shootings are racist. If you simply look at the fact that proportionately more black people are shot by police, then I can see where you would reach that conclusion. But only a simpleton would conclude that, as you have to actually examine the evidence. The first question is why do police shoot people at all, and while there are some unjustified shootings, the great majority involve those engaged in violent crime and involve the cop either protecting their own life or someone else’s life.
To help you understand it further, look at the homicide statistics. While the black population is 14%, roughly 50% of homicides are committed by black people (@Julio_Geordio will blame this on discrimination, but most of these murders are black on black). So by definition, cops get called out and engage with black communities on violent crimes like murder far more than other communities.
That’s the main point from the study, the more frequently cops encounter violent suspects from any given racial group, the greater the chance members of that racial group will be shot. More importantly, it doesn’t matter what race the cop is. It just never makes the news when a black or hispanic cop shoots a black civilian, as that doesn’t fit the racist narrative.

Do police forces all over the world get equipment ahead of the healthcare ppe? The whole world experienced the same shortages not just the US. I know that’s too hot a take for twitter though
No there was a policy decision over the last number of decades to spend a small fortune militarising the police force at the expense of everything else, schools, hospitals, Social housing, programs to help minority’s etc etc etc
It wasn’t a comment on the US response to corona, more the US outlook on life.

They are very related. The scale of the anger seen on the streets in the US has a lot more to do with the lockdown than the murder in Minneapolis.

The victims are white but are killed in the same manner as some of these black victims. But theres no doubt that black suspects are treated differently, approached more aggressively, doubted. So what’s behind that mistrust? Racism and bias, heightened maybe by previous personal interactions more than national statistics on who commits murders id imagine, but not anyway excusable.
The original point was that more whites are shot than blacks. It was a nonsense post with a misleading stat/graph. You gave it a like. You’re the simpleton and a racist.
