I wasn’t trying to get you to admit anything. I was just trying to illustrate that everyone is in some bit prejudicial.
It’s just common sense. If you are led to believe you won’t be safe somewhere, then you will change your behaviour, without ever having being there or just not go there in the first place.
Well no is the answer. I’d feel safe walking down O’Connell St in Dublin at midday but it’s a different place at 2 or 3am so I would stay away from it at that time.

I live in a city with a high crime rate, nothing to be happy about.
I fully expect a murder conviction, the defense will argue manslaughter.
Racism = bad
Peaceful protest = good
Rioting and looting = bad
Law and order = good ( For society )
Police brutality = bad

Guards are either hated or at the very least distrusted in most working class areas of dublin. Again fault lies on both sides but the greater responsibility to change it lies with the ones with the most power

Agreed, with politicians, who have done nothing to address it.
The latest proposals here are to reduce funding of the police force. The result of that will be less policing in high crime areas, and the next complaints will be police not responding to crime.
And what do you define as a working class area?
Exactly - the cops should turn a blind eye or maybe give a bit of latitude to boyos engaging in drug dealing , domestic violence , extortion , assault and underage cider parties
Those crimes aren’t the preserves of the working class you gowl
