US Politics II. Trump’s extreme regime

I’d say she absolutely hates him.

You should familiarise yourself with Peter Daszak and look up his connections with Fauci.

It’s quite simple. They want to run the world and think their money entitles them to.

Trumpism - and the ruling culture in America of which Trumpism is a hyper caricatured version - equates money with moral virtue. That means it equates lack of money with lack of moral virtue.

It says money entitles you to absolute power, and lack of money means you deserve to suffer.

It’s also quite simple how the rich gain power and keep it. They buy up and control the information landscape, they set up their own propaganda organisations and then buy up everything else.

The idea that poor people should suffer is a major reason why the Trump loving headbangers were Covid deniers. They believe it’s the duty of the poor and the sick to suffer, and Covid disproportionately affected the poor and the sick. It was a form of eugenics, of killing off the “weak”.

Trumpism is the ideology of absolute rule by the rich and mass death for the poor repackaged.

There were several police officers convicted amongst the offenders

Trump laying the ground for the full scale ethnic cleansing of Gaza and using the land to build a Las Vagas/Florida style playground for the corrupt plutocrats.

Stand back, we have an expert here, folks. :grinning:

He’s stopped all funding for 90 days going abroad except for Israel.

ISRAEL FIRST

Our billionaires exist in a small country. You can’t control the world from a small country. But Irish billionaires would be no different in inherent terms from US billionaires.

The tech bro class has essentially morphed into a full scale facsist movement. Musk is merely the most visible example of it, but it seems to me it goes really deep and the interconnected worlds of Silicon Valley, cryptocurrency and AI now present a huge threat to free societies everywhere.

There seems to be something in the make up of these tech bros that is uniquely suited to fascism. Extreme narcissism meets Harry Potter meets science fiction fantasy meets MONEY. They believe they are the special ones, they believe they are geniuses, the deeply oppressed geniuses of Ayn Rand’s rotten imagination. In reality they’re just bog standard robber barons of the 1920s, except worse. They believe they are the SOVEREIGN INDIVIDUALS of William Rees-Mogg and James Goldsmith’s imagination. Never mind the world, they believe they can and should colonise Mars and rule that. To these self styled SOVEREIGN INDIVIDUALS, human beings are mere fodder to be controlled, manipulated and treated like serfs.

James Goldsmith and how he went insane living out a paranoid fantasy of MEN GOING SOFT in his vast Mexican palace is an interesting character to know about, he was a sort of harbinger of all these modern day charlatans and of course he was one of the pro-Brexit Euro-Sceptic headbangers in the 1990s before he died, which was a good day for humanity.

The likes of the Collisons are on fully on board with this, there’s an Irish guy called Eoghan McCabe who is apparently some sort of big shot in the tech bro world who is a rabid pro-Trump fascist.

Paddy Cosgrave is on board with this too, he’s just nailed his colours to a different strain of fascism.

What is very grimly funny to observe is how the corporate elites who were previously vilified by Trump and his supporters are now the SAVIOURS.

GO CORPORATE ELITISM!

“Law and order” how are ya

Worth a listen

These executive orders he’s issuing, were these part of his campaign to become president?

Or are some of his supporters surprised by these?

Musk would bring Neymar and MBappe

Think SVU is the only one still running on network television. The early seasons of the original were the best.

Trump’s supporters are more Law and Order SUV.

No comment at all on pulling out of the Paris accords? I thought that was the only act he did yesterday that might affect us somewhat.

TFK opinion is largely pro-pollution and anti-environment/green transition, I presume most of the forum welcomes this move.

I just assumed anti Trumpers might have something to rail against instead of the usual guff that’s 9 years old now.

Are they the lads who you were citing throughout the election campaign?
