This is one of the most incredible days in the history of the world.
Limerickās JFK may have been the first - but Bidenās journey to the white house started with a coffin ship leaving our shores over 180 years ago. Like scores of Irish men and women they left this country broken. To see the descendants of those wretched souls who were driven from their home by repression, stand before us now, as the most powerful man in the world, is a cause for celebration for all Irish men and women around the world.
